Nan, it was a shock to be told you had passed away. I am so glad I spoke to you the night before. Mum knew you had gone when she tried to phone you and there was no answer. It was horrible going down to your house without you answering the door and saying "wotcha". Your house was always so warm and welcoming when you were there. Christmas wasn't the same without you. We only got through it for the sake of your great grand children Hayley, Katie, Ben, Holly and Erin. A year has nearly gone since you died and although it has gone quickly it feels like ages since I saw you. It may have got easier but I still think of you every day. We are always talking about you and things you used to say, feel a bit sad really because I had 35 years with you so I have lots of memories but with my other grandparents I only have 3 to 4 years and was so young only know what I've been told. Anyway I hope you are ok and enjoying your bingo and a whiskey where you are. Just want you to know we miss you so much. Lots of love from Shelley, Phil, Hayley, Katie and Ben xxxxxxxxx

Hello Nan, went down to Pompey on Sunday, it was the first time I had been down there since we cleared out your house after you passed away, Phil drove down your road past your old house and it still looked like your house with your net curtains in the window, it felt weird it still looked the same after nearly 3 years, felt quite sad when we left cuz i knew you weren't there. I will be 38 on Sunday i said to Phil earlier that this will be the 3rd birthday that you have not been here and I miss you, i'm hoping you will come to me in my dreams so i know your ok love you, Shells xxx

Happy Birthday Nan, you would have been 86 today. We miss you loads and wish you were here. Hayley Katie and Ben send their love. Last year we let off helium balloons for your birthday with messages on it, this year we are going to get a rose bush to put in Mum and Dad's garden. Hope you are ok give our love to everyone. You left us 1 year ago today and not a day goes by that I don't think about you, I have even tried to ring your phone number to see if you answered, silly eh?? Me and Hayley, Mum, Dad, Ross and Sal went down to the crematorium to leave some plants and flowers where you used to leave Grandad's when you went up on his birthday. Miss you Nan xxxxxx

Hiya Great Nanny. We miss you loads. You cannot describe how much we miss you.I remember the last phone call i had with you. Its was down Nanny's and we were talking about my first year at Clarendon and we just talked. But my 13th birthday was not the same without you there nor will my 14th and i know you never came down on my birthday but i could always feel you there and i always will.
